Impressions from the project process
For the reconstruction of the Berlin City Palace, PERI supplied cost-effective formwork and scaffolding solutions from one source. Apart from short shuttering and moving times, the on-site support provided by the PERI engineers in particular ensured that the tight construction schedule could be maintained.
Due to the PERI solution with external CB Climbing Platforms, no facade scaffolding for the shell construction was required. For the circular reinforced concrete walls of the cupola, RUNDFLEX Circular Formwork together with FB 180 Folding Platforms were used.
The planning and supply of formwork and scaffolding from one source created a synergy effect for the site management.
The MAXIMO Wall Formwork system and QUATTRO Column Formwork allowed fast and safe construction of the vertical reinforced concrete components.
Lightweight and flexible SKYDECK and MULTIPROP system components made of aluminium saved both time and money when forming the storey slabs.
